Grant Applications Notice

Tena koutou nga uri o Te Aroa Haereiti.

The trustees of Te Aroa Haereiti Whanau Trust have made the decision to place a moratorium on the availability of the following grants. Hardship, Health, Kaumaatua, Rangatahi, Sponsorship, Wananga, Cultural, Discretionary and Oranga will be withdrawn till further notice. Due to the volatility of the world share market we believe that taking these steps will enable the trust to manage and grow a healthy fund for future generations. The grants available are Tangihanga and Education. Education grants are capped and applications will be closely monitored and are available to Early childhood applications and include up to Year 13 at secondary level. All work related and tertiary course applicants are encouraged to register and approach other iwi trusts, there will be no exceptions. There will be a review of the financial situation in six months by trustees.
